National S’mores day was August 12, 2017! To celebrate we put together an easy peasy way to enjoy the camping treat we all know and love, anywhere, anytime!

Because we don’t always want open flame with barn animals runnin’ around, we decided to create our version of s’more: Barn S’mores

Here’s what you’ll need:

  1. Terracotta pot – Odds are, you have one around your house – if not, they are super cheap at your local home improvement store
  2. Charcoal
  3. Marshmallows
  4. Graham Crackers
  5. Chocolate
  6. A lighter
  7. Stick, fork, marshmallow utensil

Here’s What To Do:

  • Fill up the terracotta pot ¾ of the way with charcoal.
  • Make sure you have something solid and inflammable underneath the pot.
  • Light the charcoal and wait 15-30 minutes for the pieces to heat up.
  • When the coals have turned white and are visibly burning, stick your marshmallow on your chosen marshmallow heating utensil and start to brown/burn one up!
  • When your sugary treat is as toasted as you want it to be, transfer it onto a graham cracker with chocolate and WA-LAH!

*A few notes – Be sure to do this outside and remember, remember, remember to dispose of the charcoal in a responsible way!
